This morning’s weigh-in: 176.0 lbs — that’s 1.2 lbs less than yesterday. I’m on a roll.

Day 12 (177.2 lbs)
I’m at 177.2 lbs today – for those interested, that’s 1 lb lost since yesterday. 6.6 lbs lost since New Years. 15.2 lbs before I’m back to my pre-Thanksgiving weight. At this rate, I’ll make my goal about this time next month. So far, so good.

Day 11 (178.2 lbs)
Made chocolate ice cream last night — ALMOST no sugar (12 grams in a whole quart). Ate waaay too much. Still lost weight — this morning I was at 178.2 lbs (.6 lbs lighter than yesterday). Best of all, I’m beginning to FEEL thinner.

179.8 lbs – that’s a 4 lb loss this week…or perhaps I should call it a 4 lb win!

Day 5 (180.8 lbs)
Started this morning at 180.8 lbs — not a huge loss over yesterday (.2 lbs), but then again, I was a bit over-indulgent with the dark chocolate-covered almonds from Whole Foods last night (I ate about 35, and each one was amazingly tasty!).
I’m hoping that tomorrow morning I’ll be under 180 lbs!

Day 4 (181.0 lbs)
Weighed in this morning at 181.0 lbs — that’s a 2.8 lb loss since Saturday! Yay for me!

Day 2 (182.0 lbs)
Yesterday’s self control was rewarded when I got on the scale this morning — I weigh precisely 182.0 lbs this morning. That’s 1.8 lbs in 24 hours. Not bad! We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

2011 New Year’s Resolution
It been 7 weeks since I last weighed myself on November 14th, 2010. I was 162.0 lbs back then. This morning I weighed in at a hefty 183.8 lbs. So, my New Year’s resolution? Lose it…lose it all…by the end of March (our first vacation of the year). Is it going to be easy? YES. Were you expecting a different answer? I found out last year just how easy it is to lose weight — and without having to flex a single muscle. That’s not to say that it didn’t take a modicum of self control though. I simply cut out ALL sugar. That’s not just sweets and the stuff you pour into your coffee — it includes anything that converts to sugar as well — breads, pastas, grains, etc.
